On Tuesday, our Year 4/5 children enjoyed their very first session of the Joy of Moving Project with Amy from Middlesbrough Football Club Foundation.

The session began in the classroom, where the children learned about the importance of physical activity and movement and how being active supports both physical and mental wellbeing. They then took their learning outdoors, putting it into practice through a range of fun teamwork games.

It was wonderful to see everyone getting involved, working together, and enjoying being active in such a positive way. The children showed great enthusiasm, cooperation and smiles throughout the afternoon.

A fantastic start to the project — we’re already looking forward to the next session!
