St Bega’s Communication - How we keep you informed.
Our Communication
At St Bega’s, we use a combination of Seesaw, Arbor and Facebook to ensure we reach as many families as possible.
Seesaw allows us to share classroom updates, pupil work and learning resources f=directly with parents and carers, creating a strong link between home and school.
Arbor is our main whole school platform for important notices, letters, event dates and payments, ensuring parents have access to essential information.
Facebook helps us share news, celebrations and reminders in a more informal and accessible way, keeping our wider school community engaged.
By using these three channels together, we make sure every family stays informed and connected.
Seesaw
Class communication:
- Teachers will share children’s work and photos from class
- Individual class reminders
- Home work and weekly spellings are posted on Seesaw
- KS2 children can log their reading on here
- Parents and carers can message the class teacher on here with any queries about class events
Arbor
- Payments for trips and dinner money
- Booking and payments for breakfast club and after school club
- Purchase ties and book bags
- View tour child’s attendance
- Update your contact details
- Letters and announcements will also come through here
- Individual messages can be sent to families on here

Other Communication
- We strive to be paperless but occasionally we will send home consent letters or other correspondence in paper form
- Headteacher end of year newsletter comes out in the Summer term
- Our website has SEND, curriculum, policies, admissions information etc
