On 17th February, we were delighted to welcome Liz Million, a well-known illustrator and children’s author, to St Bega’s for an exciting day of creativity and enrichment. Liz shared her unique drawing style and showcased a range of her vibrant illustrations, inspiring pupils and supporting our focus on literacy and creative arts.
The day began with a whole-school assembly where Liz spoke about herself, her career, and her creative work. She then delivered engaging illustration workshops for each class, demonstrating how to draw different animals linked to our Trust Virtues.
With Liz’s expert guidance, pupils created their own illustrations. Every class was fully engaged, and the children were enthusiastic, excited, and thoroughly enjoyed this inspiring author visit.
