Year 2 Get Hands‑On with Money Skills!

This week, Year 2 at St. Bega’s Catholic Primary School have been busy developing their confidence in using money. The children have been working hard to choose the correct coins and notes to pay, add different amounts, and calculate change.

These practical tasks have not only helped the children understand the value of money, but have also given them excellent practice in counting in 2s, 5s and 10s. Their focus, enthusiasm, and growing independence have been wonderful to see.
