Pupils at St Bega's Catholic Primary School were delighted to welcome a special visitor this week as Gil from Alice House Hospice came to introduce himself and share more about the hospice's important work in the local community.
As part of the school's charitable and community-focused activities this year, St Bega's is proud to be supporting Alice House Hospice through a range of fundraising events and initiatives. The first of these will be a Coffee Afternoon taking place next Wednesday, where the school community will have the opportunity to come together and raise funds for this wonderful cause.
A particular highlight of the visit was the warm welcome given by the school's Mini Vinnies, who were pleased to meet Gil and learn more about the difference Alice House Hospice makes to the lives of local families. The group is looking forward to working closely with him throughout the year and supporting the hospice in its mission.
