Last week, our Year 4/5 class enjoyed an exciting visit from Mr Bailey, who introduced the children to coding using Micro:Bits alongside our Purple Mash programme.
The session was highly interactive, allowing pupils to get hands-on with programming and see their code come to life. The children showed great enthusiasm and curiosity as they explored how to create and test their own projects.
One of the highlights of the afternoon was when a pupil had the important job of running up and down the yard to test a pedometer they had coded—bringing lots of energy and laughter to the session!
It was a fantastic opportunity for the children to develop their computing skills in a fun and engaging way. A big thank you to Mr Bailey for such an enjoyable and inspiring afternoon.
