This week, our Year 4 and Year 5 pupils have been learning all about the incredible life and work of Sir David Attenborough as he celebrates his 100th birthday.
As part of their learning, the children carried out research and created detailed fact files, discovering fascinating information about his achievements, his passion for wildlife and his dedication to protecting our planet.
To make the celebration even more special, pupils joined a live lesson, where they took part in activities to mark this remarkable milestone. The celebration included cake and candles, helping to bring the occasion to life in a fun and memorable way!
It has been wonderful to see the children so engaged and inspired by Sir David’s story, learning about the importance of caring for the natural world and the difference one person can make.
Happy 100th Birthday, Sir David Attenborough!
