Today, St. Bega’s Catholic Primary School in Hartlepool had the great privilege of welcoming Bishop Stephen to our school community! It was a truly memorable occasion filled with faith, joy, and togetherness.

The day began with Bishop Stephen blessing our beautiful Prayer Garden, a space that reflects our commitment to prayer and peace. He was warmly greeted by our Head Boy, Head Girl, and their deputies, setting the tone for a day of celebration.

Joining Bishop Stephen were Canon Paul and our dedicated school governors, making the visit even more special. After a lovely welcome reception with our enthusiastic Mini Vinnies, the Bishop toured every classroom, where each class had prepared something unique and heartfelt.

From creative prayer and the Examen, to liturgical dance and visio divina, every act of worship showcased the deep faith and creativity of our pupils. It was inspiring to see how each class expressed their spirituality in such meaningful ways.

This visit was more than an event—it was a reminder of the strength of our school community and the joy that comes from living our faith together. Thank you, Bishop Stephen, for blessing our school and sharing this wonderful day with us!
